On the 11 of November 2007

 

We had a visiting group of brethren who brought us the Sermon and the bible study. Todd Clippard from Alabama USA preached to us concerning “Family Values” from Ephesians 5: 22—33 how the family is an important part in the make up of a healthy Church that belongs to Christ. Children, Fathers & Husbands, Mothers & Wifes all have a duty to serve in humility. How Teens should be carefull to take time in their relationship with their prospective Husbands/ Wifes because they will be the one they will spend the rest of their lives with.

       The bible study was also excellent “The History of Mankind till present day”. Through the ages man has tried to help God out only to mess things up e.g. Abram and Sarah and Gods promise to Abram.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ian Stars also visited us in the month of November  encouraging us as Christians to reach out to those closest to us and our neighborhoods with the Good News of Salvation. People we can! Reach out to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally in December Paddy Boyens and his daughter visited us with presentations of Malawi Aid and India Appeal of which we have and do send some financial support to on a regular basis. Paddy also gave us some insight in to the British Bible School.

                

 

On the 23 of February 2008 Craig and Crystal Holder organised a “Song Festival” day of worship. Congregations around us were invited and it was well attended, with song leaders from some of the  visiting congregations. This was truly an uplifting day of rejoicing to the Lord, a taste of what Heaven would be perhaps.
